Riedell ColorLab® and Full Custom Roller Skates

Design the skates of your dreams with Riedell ColorLab®! For only $250.00 in addition to the price of your skate boot, you can add as many different colors as there are panels or sections of your skate boot. We offer over 35 leather, metallic leather, and suede leather colors, so you can get as creative as you want when designing your new skates. Click the “Enter” button below access our redesigned online interactive tool allows you to pick the colors for each part of the skate boot and will show you what your skates will look like. Once you are done, simply save your PDF by hitting the “Create Order” button and contact your local Riedell Authorized Dealer to order your Riedell ColorLab boots. RIEDELL FULL CUSTOM BOOTS

Are you wanting to add a custom graphic, decal, or number to your skate boots? Do you have a foot shape that doesn't seem to fit one of our standard widths? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then a Full Custom Boot from Riedell is your solution. 

Our finest craftsmen will take your designs and build your custom skate boot to exacting specifications and features. We can make allowances for orthotics, arches, toe room, heel spurs, foot irregularities, bunions, etc. You can choose colors, leather temper, ankle/boot firmness, heel height, and lining materials, plus add custom graphics and much more. If you can dream it, we can build it! 

Our customization options include: 

Custom Graphics

  • Hand-cut leather or embroidery
  • Requires artwork in vector format (.ai is preferable) to be submitted. Some restrictions apply and Riedell reserves the right to decline any custom graphics at its discretion. A signed waiver will also be required acknowledging the following:
  • The submitted artwork is original or submitted with the artist’s permission.
  • The artwork submitted is free from trademark, licensing, copyright limitations, or rights of publicity.
  • You have the legal right and authority to reproduce this design.
  • The submitted artwork is not defamatory or obscene and contains no illegal material.
  • Custom widths and lengths
    Addition of straps or backstay finger loops
    Combining parts of 2 boots into one
  • Example: Back half of boot x and the front half of boot y.

Structural Changes

Need to make a couple structural changes to make your boots your own but don’t want or need full customs? Riedell proudly offers customization options to stock boots through special and premium make-ups at great low flat rates.

Special Boot – One change: $150.00 AUD
Do you want only one change to a stock boot? A Special make-up boot is the answer to your heart’s desire.

Premium Boot – Up to three changes: $250.00 AUD
Create a Premium make-up boot by selecting the stock boot of your choice and making up to three changes. Make changes including width, special size variations from heel to toe, and/or material change.

ColorLab + Structural Changes
If doing ColorLab in addition to structural changes, the cost per structural change drops to $50.00 AUD each for up to two changes. If doing ColorLab plus three or more structural changes, please see our Custom Boot options.

Embroidery
Embroidery work is quoted upon request; pricing varies by design.

Want to order your new Full Custom Boots? Here's what you need to do:

Visit your local Riedell Authorized Dealer or call us at 024973 5999 and speak to one of our knowledgeable Customer Service Representatives. They will be able to go over pricing, production time estimates, and more. 

You will need to provide tracings of your feet on a piece of paper and measurements of these 5 areas of your foot: the ball, instep, heel, ankle, and top.

  • Tracings and Measurements should be provided from both a seated and standing position. 
  • Your local dealer will be trained in how to measure your foot and the custom boot ordering process. However, if you can't make it to your local dealer, our Customer Service Reps will be able to walk you through the process.

You will also provide us with the boot model you want, the leather colors you want, and provide a PDF or different vector-based format (like AI) of the graphic/decal/number you would like added to your boot. Some restrictions apply and Riedell reserves the right to decline any custom graphic at it's discretion.

  • We offer the option of cut-out leather graphics or embroidered graphics
  • Some designs can be too intricate for us to make. It's usually best to void small sharp edges and extreme detail. If a design is too detailed and can't be created by our boot maker, we might ask for you to redesign your graphic. We may also request the repositioning of graphics and reducing the size of graphics depending on placement on the boot due to how the boots are constructed.

You will be required to sign a copyright waiver acknowledging the following:

  • The submitted artwork is original or submitted with the artist’s permission.
  • The artwork submitted is free from trademark, licensing, copyright limitations, or rights of publicity.
  • You have the legal right and authority to reproduce this design.
  • The submitted artwork is not defamatory or obscene and contains no illegal material.

Once we have all the necessary information from you, we will begin to build your dream custom boots. A pair of Full Custom Boots will typically take 12–14 weeks for production and shipping.

We guarantee the craftsmanship, materials, and most importantly, the correct fit of your Riedell custom-built boots for one year. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the boots within one year of the purchase date, the boots may be returned for corrections or repair. Custom boots cannot be returned for a refund.
